San Antonio is finally here. I don’t know if I have enjoyed seeing grass and no snow or the football part of this(wink-wink). I flew down with one of my friends I met a few weeks ago. He will be playing in the game also. He is on the East Team and is offensive tackle. I will be going up against him. The kids here are out of this world. One of the first guys I met is named Conner Mayes. He is 5’11” and weighs 250. There is definitely a lot of weight down here. There is another tackle for the east team that is 6’5″ and weighs 325. There is definitely a lot of athletes. It is kind of cool when you walk by each other. Everyone takes a second look at each other to see how athletic each other looks. Tomorrow is the day we check-in. After check- in we have a full pad practice. This should be a fun week.

Peyton- We are so PROUD of you! We are busting through snow, ice, sleet, and the Arctic Blast to get to you and watch you play! I will finally get to yell, with gusto, “REMEMBER THE ALAMO!!!!” (Not because I love history, but because YOU are there!!!) Go get’em Peyton!
